Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons. It’s such a cozy season, fresh and crisp air outside, it’s getting a bit darker so it’s perfect to light some candles at home, colorful and beautiful trees outside. Ah, bliss!

FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT FALL:
Cozy nights at home with something hot in a mug
Homemade cinnamon rolls
Closet organization and autumn shopping
Cozy oversized knitted sweaters and cardigans
Crisp and fresh air – perfect for a stroll outside with a hot cup of coffee
My absolute favorite breakfast/lunch in the weekends is avocado toast. Tastes so good and is so filling!
Toast the bread in a toaster. Mash the avocado and add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Spread the avocado paste on the bread and add feta cheese, tomato, and arugula! It also tastes good with eggs on top.😍 Enjoy!
Fall is my favorite season to find clothes for! First of all I deep clean and organize my closet, then I like to see what can still be worn from last year and what I want to donate. I then make a mini-list of things that I n e e d, if I don’t write one I’ll end up buying stuff that no one needs 😂
These are some must-have essentials for fall:
🍂 SWEATER/CARDIGAN – a cozy and warm sweater/cardigan will definitely come in handy when it gets colder.
🍂 TRENCH COAT – perfect for fall and also chic!
🍂 SCARF – in a color that will go with everything is a must-have! Nothing like a scarf in the cold in the morning. And if you don’t have a jacket on and it gets freezing then the scarf is a perfect throw!
🍂 BOOTS – although I always prefer sneakers no matter which season we’re in it’s not always practical. So boots is a must-have in the closet.
🍂 PANTS/SKIRT – Some loose pants or maxi skirt with a cozy and soft sweater will look so good together and is perfect for fall.
🍂 BLAZER – I absolutely love blazers, it’s a perfect essential for fall when it’s not warm outside but not cold either.
Every Sunday I like to sit down and plan a menu for the week. To plan the meals of the week is both time- and money saving. When writing down what you’re having for the whole week, it’s easier to write all the ingredients that you don’t have at home to your grocery shopping list before going to the store for that food shopping of the week. Instead of going to the store every day which can result in buying a lot of unnecessary things, especially when you’re hungry and can’t wait to eat, haha!
It’s not always easy to think about new ideas, so it pretty much ends up being almost the same every week, haha! But I like to find some inspiration on food blogs and Instagram for example. If there’s dinner left from the day before it’s perfect for lunch or dinner the next day.
Salmon with quinoa and veggies
Mexican quinoa bowl
Creamy chicken pesto pasta
Chicken filet with veggies and rice
I got this perfect meal planner from Søstrene Grene for under 40 KR. Love it!
